In its third acquisition in a year, Pune-based technology firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.persistent.com/">Persistent Systems</a> has bought out Australia&#8217;s <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.prmcloud.com/">PRM Cloud Solutions</a>, a certified Salesforce consulting partner.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition further strengthens our ability to lead our customers on their journey to digital with Salesforce as one of those key platforms,” said Anand Deshpande, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems in a statement by the company.
Based outside Perth, PRM primarily focuses on healthcare, construction and property management, with its key customers including Honda, Rio Tinto, Furniture Options, Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), Synergy and Workpower.
“PRM has local expertise in building new digital experiences for organizations in Australia. Combined we have the global ability to scale, while strengthening Persistent’s platform-centric approach to digital transformation with Salesforce as one of the dominant platforms in Australia,&#8221; said Ashish Bhuta, head of sales Australia.
This marks the third acquisition by Persistent Systems in the last one year. In November last year, Persistent Systems Ltd, through its US-based arm Persistent Systems Inc, had signed an agreement with <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.akumina.com/" target="_blank">Akumina Inc</a>, to acquire the assets and hire the employees of its content management services business. Before that in July, the firm had acquired Irish tech firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://aepona.accelerite.com/" target="_blank">Aepona</a> from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=intel" target="_blank">Intel</a> for an undisclosed amount.
Persistent Systems, a global company specialising in software product and technology services, was founded in 1990. It provides services like research, usability engineering, prototyping, development, testing and quality assurance, porting, documentation, training, sales support, product deployment, technical support, maintenance, and performance engineering.
Having its offices and delivery centres across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and India, the company employs over 8,500 people.
