<p>London-based hedge fund <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/steadview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Steadview Capital</a></strong> is investing $30 million in soon-to-be-launched Indian wealth technology platform INDwealth.in.</p></article>

<p>London-based hedge fund <strong><a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/steadview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Steadview Capital</a></strong> is investing $30 million in soon-to-be-launched Indian wealth technology platform INDwealth.in.</p>
<p>The venture, launched by former chief executive of Ibibo Group and president of MakeMyTrip, Ashish Kashyap, will help users manage their investments, liabilities, future cash flows and taxation. It is slated to be launched in the beginning of next year.</p>

<p>&#8220;Managed wealth in India is under-penetrated at less than 10 per cent. Intersection of AI and machine learning with finance represents a large opportunity,&#8221; said Kashyap. &#8220;As a consumer, there are several gaps and problems. Having identified the solutions, we are looking forward to solve the same by use of technology and by delivering a transparent, simple and intelligent user experience via INDwealth.in,&#8221; he added.</p>

<p>The new platform will compete startups like FundsIndia, OroWealth, Arthayantra, Tavaga, Goalwise, Tauro Wealth and ClearTax that also provide wealth management features.</p>
<p>According to an official statement, IndWealth claims to be the first such application from the company targeted at the affluent and HNI segments. The parent firm, Finzoom Investments, will launch other financial technology applications for different user segments and use cases.</p>

<p>Steadview Capital has also invested in leading internet companies such as Ola, Policybazaar and Flipkart. Prior to INDwealth, Steadview Capital had participated in a $210-million fundraising by Indiabulls Ventures, the financial services arm of the Indiabulls Group.</p>
