India: West Bengal launches $30m VC fund for startups, Telangana to open incubator

West Bengal has kept a Rs 200 crore ($30.2 million) budget for venture capital (VC) fund for young entrepreneur in the state, Amita Mitra, state Finance and Industry Minister said, The Economic Times reported. And newly-formed Telangana is also moving to take first steps in that direction by supporting startups in the renewable energy space.
