Indonesia AirAsia X could be grounded for failure to meet aircraft ownership rules

Indonesia AirAsia X, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s AirAsia Bhd, could be grounded by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation for failure to meet the aircraft ownership obligation. Based on the existing regulation on air transportation, all commercial flight carriers operating in the country must own at least 10 aircraft in their fleets by June 30, 2015.
