Tokopedia introduces TokoCabang warehouse service
Tokopedia on Tuesday introduced TokoCabang, which allows its merchants to store goods at a designated warehouse without having to set up their own warehouses.
TokoCabang, which literally mean ‘branch outlet’ in Bahasa Indonesia, is now available in Jakarta, Bandung (West Java), Surabaya (East Java), and will expand to other cities and regions across the archipelago.
Tokopedia head of fulfillment Erwin Dwi Saputra said, the unicorn will provide assistance ranging from handling incoming orders, packaging, to handing over the packages to shipping couriers.
With TokoCabang, sellers will be able to reach more buyers by storing their goods in Tokopedia’s warehouses across the regions, while for buyers, it enables them to receive the products quicker, along with cheaper shipping cost.
Currently, Tokopedia is developing analytics that will provide information to help assist merchants in storing the products where demand for the goods is higher.

Grab’s hotel booking service is now available across Southeast Asia. Grab will add more features and benefits to its newly-established service within this year. Users will also able to enjoy special Grab ride offers with the purchase of its hotel booking.
The unicorn will also establish a partnership with global travel booking platform Booking.com in the near future.
