Indonesia government plans to license OTT services

Indonesian government is planning to encourage the development of national over the top (OTT) mobile Internet applications, which will be able to compete with the international OTTs such as Facebook and Twitter. To support this development, the government might require that the OTT operators have license in the country, said the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Rudiantara.
