Asia-Pac M&A activity drops in Q1 as Chinese firms chase deals in US

The value of merger and acquisition deals (M&A) in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) has dropped sharply in the first quarter of 2016, after hitting a new record last year, as slowing economic growth forced Chinese firms to pursue more deals in the US.
