InspeCity has raised nearly $10.5 million in pre-Series A funding; InstaAstro has secured $12 million in a Series A funding round; while TrucksUp has secured $8.2 million funding.
Speciale Invest co-leads funding in InspeCity
Space technology company InspeCity has raised nearly $10.5 million (Rs 100 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Speciale Invest and Ashish Kacholia.
The round also saw participation from Antler Elevate, Antler India, Manish Gandhi, Shastra VC, and other investors. The funding will fuel InspeCity’s next phase of flight qualification, commercial deployment and scale-up.
Over the next 12-18 months, the company plans to undertake four in-orbit missions under its RIG-X, VEDA-X and SAMA-X road map. These missions will progressively test and validate its propulsion, sensing, autonomous operations, robotics, docking and in-space refuelling capabilities.
InspeCity will also focus on expanding the commercial deployment of its GITA propulsion systems and RIG-based capabilities, alongside scaling its engineering, manufacturing and mission execution capacity.
Founded in 2022 by alumni of IIT Bombay, InspeCity is an Indian space technology company developing vertically integrated technologies and platforms for in-space mobility, inspection, satellite life-extension and servicing.
InstaAstro secures $12m funding
Digital spiritual wellness platform InstaAstro has secured $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund.
The company’s founders also participated in the round, the company said in a statement.
“This investment will help us strengthen our leadership in trusted astrology services, expand across regional and international markets, and accelerate our online Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce offerings,” said Nitin Verma, Founder and CEO, InstaAstro.
Founded in 2021 by Verma, InstaAstro has grown from an astrology consultation app into a full-stack spiritual wellness platform with a presence across 183 countries. The platform currently has more than 5,000 verified experts across astrology, tarot, numerology, vastu and related disciplines, up from around 1,500 astrologers at the time of its previous funding round.
The latest investment follows InstaAstro’s Rs 18.5 crore pre-Series A round in May 2024, which was led by Artha Venture Fund. Prior to that, the startup had raised Rs 3.2 crore in a seed round in November 2021.
The company claims to have cross Rs 200 crore ($21 million) in annualised revenue.
TrucksUp raises $8.2m funding
Logistics technology startup TrucksUp has secured $8.2 million in funding from institutional investors and family offices, with co-founders Sarthak Shah Elwadhi and Aviraj Singh Chadha also increasing their ownership in the company.
TrucksUp will use the funds to strengthen its technology stack and expand its fleet-focused solutions, it said in a statement.
Founded in 2022 by Elwadhi and Chadha, TrucksUp runs an AI-powered digital marketplace for road freight in India. The platform connects truck owners, fleet operators and drivers with businesses seeking transportation services.
