Debt financing firm IntelleGrow has roped in Nikesh Kumar Sinha as its CEO, while private equity firm BanyanTree has recently seen the exit of three of its senior executives.
<h3>Former Axis Bank exec appointed as IntelleGrow CEO</h3>
<a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/aavishkaar-intellecap" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aavishkaar Intellecap Group</a>-promoted specialty debt financing firm <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/intellegrow" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IntelleGrow </a>has appointed Nikesh Kumar Sinha as chief executive officer.
Saha joins IntelleGrow from Axis Bank where he was the head of the medium enterprises group.
IntelleGrow offers loans to SMEs from $75,000-$1.25 million. Its target customers include SMEs, fintech companies, early stage startups through venture debt and small NBFCs including microfinance institutions.
<h3>Three senior executives exit PE firm BanyanTree</h3>
Homegrown private equity firm <a href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/banyantree" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BanyanTree Capital </a>has recently seen the exit of three of its senior executives, according to <a href="https://www.vccircle.com/banyantree-capital-loses-senior-executives" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a report</a> in VCCircle quoting sources.
According to the news report, Principal Ravinder Vashist and director Mitin Jain have resigned to set up their own firms. Meanwhile, senior analyst Jigesh Doshi left the firm to join SBI Funds Management in May, according to his Linkedin profile.
The mid-market private equity firm is reportedly in fundraising mode, with a target to raise around $300 million for its latest fund. However, the report specifies that none of the executives that resigned were part of the fundraising process.
