<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.sinoze.com" target="_blank">Sinoze</a>, a leading mobile games developer in Thailand has raised around $700,000 from InVent, the venture capitalist arm of Thailand’s largest telco Intouch. 
The deal has seen <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.intouchcompany.com" target="_blank">Intouch Holdings Plc (INTUCH)</a> subscribing to 6,000 newly-issued shares in <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.sinoze.com" target="_blank">Sinoze Company Limited</a>, equivalent to 16.67 per cent of its paid-up capital, for 22.5 million baht (approximately $700,000) through InVent.
Sinoze has created “Thapster” – a Thai music game offering users a wide variety of songs and special items on mobile apps with more than 5 million downloads at present.
Currently, it has a registered and paid-up capital of three million baht with a par value of 100 baht per share. After the new share issue, it will increase its capital to 3.6 million baht with the same par value, said INTUCH’s chief executive Somprasong Boonyachai.
This is its first investment through InVent this year, after it has granted $500,000 seed funding to Thailand-based gaming studio Infinity Levels in December last year.
He said that it planned to spend 200 million baht a year on venture capital investments under the InVent unit.
INTUCH had set up the InVent unit to promote Thai entrepreneurs who have high potential in telecom, IT, media, digital content and other related businesses to expand their business through venture capital.
In return, Intouch Group will obtain new quality products and services to offer its customers, provide new communication channels, enhance its competitiveness, build synergy in the group and increase corporate growth in the long run.
