Exchange chief pledges to 'eliminate barriers' to boost IPOs of Chinese firms in HK

Hong Kong is ramping up efforts to “eliminate barriers” for IPOs of China’s fast-growing companies in the home market, as the Asian financial hub is entering the seventh month of pro-democracy protest that will continue to devastate the local economy, said the chief executive of the city’s stock exchange operator.
