J P Morgan Private Bank has announced Kam Shing Kwang as the new Chief Executive Officer for Asia. Meanwhile, Swiss banker J Safra Sarasin has appointed Vinay Gandhi as the Chief Executive for ultra-high net worth division in Asia.

<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/michael-christo-is-desk-head-at-ubs-hong-kong-domestic-team-59140/" target="_blank">J P Morgan Private Bank </a>has announced Kam Shing Kwang as the new Chief Executive Officer for Asia, according to a report from finews.com on Thursday.
Kam Shing Kwang, who takes on the new role, will retain her current role as senior country officer for J P Morgan in Hong Kong.
Kwang succeeds Andrew Cohen who was named CEO of J P Morgan&#8217;s international private banking business. She will report to Cohen and be based in Hong Kong, according to the report.
She was previously the Managing Director and Market Manager for Hong Kong, China the Philippines and Thailand and was Head of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Singapore.

Swiss banker <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/people-savilla-investment-hires-sg-fund-management-director-bank-j-safra-sarasin-gets-client-advisory-md-in-hk-62371/" target="_blank">J Safra Sarasin</a> has appointed Vinay Gandhi as the Chief Executive for ultra-high net worth in Asia, a newly created division, said a report from finews.com on Thursday.
Gandhi, a former head of the ultra-high net worth division at <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/ubs-raises-110m-fund-to-invest-in-woman-led-firms-67004/" target="_blank">UBS</a>, will be based in Singapore and report to Hong Kong based Enid Yip who is the Asia CEO.
At his previous role at UBS, he spent almost seven years and had a senior role at the ultra high net worth team in Southeast Asia for clients in Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand, along with global non-resident Indian clients.
Gandhi has had roles at Deutsche Bank AG’s South Asian private banking division in Singapore, Citigroup Private Bank and Commerzbank AG in Asia.
