Kuka investor tenders stake to China's Midea, paving way for smooth merger

German mechanical engineering group Voith is selling its 25.1 percent stake in robotics maker Kuka to Chinese bidder Midea , paving the way for the merger to go through smoothly, people close to the deal said on Thursday.
