E-commerce firm Lazada receives $378m capital injection from parent Alibaba

Southeast Asian e-commerce site Lazada has issued new shares worth $378.5 million to its parent company Alibaba Singapore, show regulatory filings reviewed by DealStreetAsia.

This is the largest capital injection since June 2020, when the company had received $1.3 billion from Alibaba, filings with Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority show.
