China's Luckin Coffee brews comeback plan with SE Asia foray

China’s Luckin Coffee is taking a second shot at overseas expansion by planning an entry into Southeast Asia two years after it was investigated for accounting fraud, according to several industry sources.

The details of its expansion strategy are still unclear, but Luckin will likely target cities popular among Chinese tourists in Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, one person noted.
