Mekr Technologies has raised nearly $7 million (Rs 67 crore) in its Series A funding round, while venture capital firm GVFL has led a $3 million investment in Antier Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Avaana leads $7m funding in Mekr
Mekr Technologies, a full-stack design and manufacturing company focused on consumer appliances, has raised nearly $7 million (Rs 67 crore) in its Series A funding round led by Avaana Capital, it announced on Tuesday.
The funding also saw participation from Titan Capital Winners Fund.
With the fresh infusion, Mekr plans to deepen its investments in R&D, product engineering, proprietary tooling, and supplier localisation. Additionally, the funds will be utilised to expand manufacturing automation, enhance quality systems, and strengthen export readiness for global market expansion, the startup said in a statement.
Founded in 2022 by Anand Yadav and Gaurang Kuchhal, the company is developing an integrated platform for design, engineering, and manufacturing within India’s domestic appliance ecosystem. The company is already working with brands including Croma, Wipro, Amazon Basics, and Flipkart, while developing 100+ SKUs across consumer appliances and electronics.
GVFL leads $3m investment in Antier Solutions
Venture capital firm GVFL has led a $3 million investment in an enterprise blockchain engineering company, Antier Solutions Pvt. Ltd., marking a funding round focused on enterprise blockchain infrastructure.
This is the first institutional funding for Antier Solutions after more than a decade of bootstrapped operations, per a company statement.
The fresh capital raised will be used to scale Antier’s platform offerings, expand deployments across government and BFSI sectors, and strengthen its presence in key international markets, including the United States, MENA, and Asia-Pacific.
Founded by Vikram R. Singh, Antier Solutions develops infrastructure for secure and verifiable digital workflows and institutional applications. Headquartered in Mohali, the company has a team of over 600 professionals, and claims to have delivered more than 1,000 projects for enterprises, startups, and government organisations globally.
