Mitsubishi exits Indonesia’s Medco Energi, sells 10% stake for $40m

Japan-based Mitsubishi Corporation has exited Indonesian oil and gas firm Medco Energi International by selling all of its remaining 1.33 billion shares – equivalent to a 9.99 per cent stake – to Medco Daya Abadi Lestari. The parties agreed on a price of IDR 411 per share, bringing the total deal value to IDR 547 billion, or approximately $40 million.
