Global mobile advertising and analytics services platform <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Mobvista">Mobvista</a> is seeking to raise HK$1.36 billion ($208 million) in its initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong after pricing its offering at between HK$3.90 and HK$5.10 per share.
The target is based on an offer price of HK$4.50 per share, the mid-point of the indicative price range, according to the Hong Kong-based company&#8217;s amended filing.
The offering comprises a total of 318.87 million shares (subject to the over-allotment option), in a mix of 31.89 million Hong Kong offer shares and 286.98 million international offer shares.
The Hong Kong public offering commenced at 9:00 a.m. on 30 November and is expected to close at 12:00 noon on 5 December, the company said.
Mobvista was founded in Hong Kong in 2013. It has since opened 11 offices across Asia, Europe, and the US. In 2016, Mobvista acquired US ad-tech company <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=NativeX">NativeX</a>, and Europe-based analytics platform <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=GameAnalytics">GameAnalytics</a>.
It helps app developers to better acquire users, monetise their apps, and understand the performance of their apps and the behaviour of their users via Mobvista’s mobile advertising platform and mobile analytics SaaS platform.
As of the first half of this year, the company said, it had provided user acquisition services to over 2,000 advertisers and delivered ads to over 7 billion unique mobile devices cumulatively.
In 2017, Mobvista’s total revenue reached $313 million, representing a compounded annual growth rate of 36.8 per cent, from $167.2 million in 2015. Profits also increased from $8.7 million in 2015 to $27.3 million in 2017 and reached $10.1 million in the six-months ended June 30, 2018.
The company intends to use the net proceeds of its IPO to enhance its strengths in big data and AI technologies and IT infrastructure, enhance and improve its mobile advertising and mobile analytics platform, make additional strategic investments and acquisitions, and for general working capital.
The company has so far raised $110 million in two funding rounds &#8211; $10 million in 2014 and $100 million in debt financing in 2017.
