India Deal Monitor: Mumbai Angels Network backs Agro2o and more updates

Agritech startup Concinnity Agro2o Pvt. Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount in funding from venture investing firm Mumbai Angels Network, per an announcement.

Founded in 2018, Agro2o claims to offer urban millennials an intelligent and advanced indoor hydroponics system, which automates the process of growing fresh herbs, vegetables, medicinal plants and flowers. Its product, called Smart Garden, allows for quick nutrient infusion, water refill reminders, and comes with features such as automated lighting and water and air quality detectors.

The startup’s founder Yash Vyas said the investment would help the company offer robust and sustainable solutions for better living.

In Singapore, we are looking to double our reporting team by this year-end to comprehensively cover the fast-moving world of funded startups and VC, PE & M&A deals.   • A journalist to track special situations funds, distressed debt and private credit (from the PE angle) across Asia.
