<h3>edotco gets Getco as a 30% shareholder</h3>
edotco Bangladesh, a unit of the Axiata Group, has sold 30 per cent stake to conglomerate Getco, according to a statement.
Bangladesh-based Getco will partner with edotco subsidiary Greencon Tower Company Ltd to provide next-generation infrastructure to address the country&#8217;s growing connectivity needs, including applying for a tower sharing licence.
edotco Bangladesh owns and operates over 9,000 telecom towers throughout the country and over 27,000 towers in six different nations.
<h3>ECM Libra JV with Truesource to venture into travel industry</h3>
ECM Libra Financial Group Bhd has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Truesource Sdn Bhd with joint investments of up to RM14 million ($3.53 million). Truesource is wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore-listed investment holding firm Plato Capital Ltd.
ECM Libra said, the JV is not expected to have any material impact on its earnings per share and net tangible assets per share.
&#8220;The company shall fund the cash of RM1.00 for the initial share capital and the investment of up to RM7 million using internally generated funds,&#8221; said ECM Libra in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.
