Venture capital firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Nexus+Venture+Partners" target="_blank">Nexus Venture Partners</a> has elevated KG Subramanian to the role of managing director for its finance and operations, the company said today.
Subramanian is based in the firm&#8217;s Mumbai office and will assume responsibilities for portfolio and exit management and administrative duties in addition to his current role in fund administration, compliance and legal functions.
Subramanian, 44, joined Nexus in 2010 as CFO. Prior to this, he worked with <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Kotak+Mahindra+Investments" target="_blank">Kotak Mahindra Investments Ltd</a> for almost one-and-a-half decades at various positions and his last role was as senior VP- finance and operations.

Having started his career with <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Ashok+leyland+finance" target="_blank">Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd</a>, which specialises in commercial vehicles and corporate financing products, Subramanian has also worked with media house <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=business+standard" target="_blank">Business Standard</a> where he was in charge of HR, legal and general administration apart from core finance and accounting functions.
He is a commerce graduate, a chartered accountant and a cost accountant by education.
