<p dir="ltr">According to Cebuana Lhuillier president and CEO Jean Henri, the venture with Colixo is expected to boost Cebuana Lhuillier&#8217;s client reach and give the company a nationwide coverage.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Colixo specialises in providing new payment experiences to consumers, by bridging the gap between legacy payment technology and emerging payment innovations. It is working on developing an omni-channel payment-processing platform that will allow merchants and financial institutions to customize payment acceptance securely and efficiently.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop,  is a Philippine-based finance company provides  services of pawnbroking, money remittance, insurance, payment, collections through its 1500- strong retail chain network across the country.</p>
<p dir="ltr">&#8220;By combining Colixo’s technology with our unequaled geographical outreach, we can offer improved, innovative and cost-efficient services to our customers, particularly those outside the urban areas where traditional financial institutions are typically not present,&#8221; Henri said.</p>
<p dir="ltr">According to him, the partnership will  benefit the banked, the underbanked and  the unbanked Filipinos. &#8220;They will have greater access to traditional electronic payment services, or to financial solutions truly tailored to their needs,&#8221; he added.</p>
