PH fintech startup PayMongo names acting CEO as harassment probe continues

PayMongo, the Philippine-based payments processing startup backed by billionaire investor Peter Thiel, has appointed an acting chief executive officer (CEO) following the voluntary leave of absence of CEO and co-founder Francis Plaza.

In a statement furnished to DealStreetAsia on Tuesday, PayMongo said Plaza will be on leave for the duration of an ongoing investigation of a complaint filed by a former employee against him.
