SEA sees PE deal value in 2017 at a record $20b, momentum to stay: Bain & Co

Amid a number of private equity mega-deals — those over $1 billion in value — that dotted Asia Pacific deal space last year, Southeast Asia (SEA) saw a record year with deal value in 2017 at $20 billion up from $8 billion in 2016. The momentum is set to keep SEA at the forefront of investors’ minds as they look to invest in Asia, according to a Bain & Company report.
