Singapore Exchange has announced the appointment of Daniel Koh as chief financial officer, while Indonesian insurtech company Fuse has appointed Ivan Sunandar as its new chief executive officer .
Ex-StanChart MD Daniel Koh to join SGX as CFO
Singapore Exchange (SGX Group)on Monday announced the appointment of Daniel Koh as chief financial officer (CFO).
Koh will succeed Ng Yao Loong as CFO from December 1, 2024, as Ng transitions to the position of head of equities.
Koh has extensive experience in the banking and financial industry, having led global teams in treasury markets and played a pivotal role in advancing industry development in Singapore and the region, according to the announcement.
Before joining SGX, he was with Standard Chartered Bank as managing director and global head of treasury markets.
Loh Boon Chye, Chief Executive Officer of SGX Group, said, “We are pleased to welcome Daniel to the SGX Group executive management team. His deep expertise in financial services and strategic insights will greatly support SGX Group’s long-term goals.”

Indonesia’s Fuse names Ivan Sunandar as CEO
Indonesian insurtech company Fuse has appointed Ivan Sunandar, previously chief operation officer, as its new chief executive officer. Andy Yeung steps up as the chairman of the board to guide the company’s strategic and business direction.
“I am honoured to take up this new enlarged role at such a pivotal moment for Fuse,” said Ivan. “Together with our committed management team, we will continue our missions to leverage cutting-edge technologies to democratise access to insurance for everyone in South East Asia.”
In addition, Fuse appointed Vincent Chan as non-executive director. Chan has over 30 years of Asian private equity track record and has managed over 80 investments in technology and growth companies in China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, with various notable exits.
Currently, Vincent also serves as a non-executive director of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong and is the current executive director of HKVCPE Association (Chairman 2005-2006).
