People Digest: Julius Baer, UBS to beef up team; DBS gets CIO

Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer has appointed former UBS executive Nelson Ip to its Hong Kong team while UBS Asset Management is looking to hire aggressively in China after the bank bagged a private-funds licence. Meanwhile, Singapore-based bank DBS has appointed Hou Wey Fook as the Chief Investment Officer of the consumer and private banking unit.
