iSPIRT’s co-founder Avinash Raghava has joined Accel Partners as a community platform evangelist while Barclays has promoted Jaideep Khanna as the sole head of the bank in Asia Pacific.

Software products think tank iSPIRT‘s Avinash Raghava has joined Accel Partners as a community platform evangelist.

“My role would be to engage and build a community for Accel portfolio companies and also help cross-learning to happen with different teams. I would be working closely with the Accel leadership team and we will be contributing to different initiatives in the ecosystem,” Raghava said in a blog post.

An IIT-Delhi alumnus, Raghava co-founded iSPIRT in 2012. Before that, he worked with One97 Communications Ltd, the parent company of Paytm as AVP of corporate development. He has been also associated with companies like Trisoft Systems, NASSCOM and DSF Internet Services.

Barclays promotes Jaideep Khanna as head of Asia Pacific

Barclays has promoted Jaidee Khanna as the sole head for its Asia Pacific region. His appointment is effective immediately.

Khanna will take over as sole head following the appointment of Reid Marsh as head of banking for Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Marsh was co-head for Barclays with Khanna in Asia Pacific, according to an Economic Times article.

Khanna was the CEO of Barclays India till recently. His role as CEO will be taken over by Ram Gopal, the chief operating officer (COO) of the bank in India.
