<p>KKR and PGIM have made senior hires to boost their management teams in the Asia Pacific, with Go Yamashita joining KKR Japan and Cameron Sinclair joining PGIM.</p>
<h3>Go Yamashita to head KKR Capital Markets Japan</h3>
<p>Global investment firm KKR today announced the appointment of Go Yamashita as Head of KKR Capital Markets (KCM) Japan.</p>
<p>In this role, Yamashita will oversee a team providing tailored capital markets advice and manage relationships and business development with institutional investors in Japan.</p>
<p>Prior to joining KKR, Yamashita worked at The Blackstone Group in Japan for nine years. Prior to this, he worked in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs&#8217; Tokyo office.</p>
<p>“Japan is an integral part of our Asia strategy as Japanese companies have the tremendous potential to expand and compete internationally. Providing strong Japanese companies with the capital market resources to fulfil their growth potential is an integral part of the equation,” said Hiro Hirano, Member &amp; CEO of KKR Japan.</p>
<p>Yamashita joins KKR with nearly 20 years of professional experience, including more than a decade in the financial services and investment banking sector. He is a graduate of Keio University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.</p>
<p>“KKR is at the forefront of Japan’s private equity industry and has established a track record of helping Japanese companies carve out non-core businesses and expand both organically and through accretive mergers and acquisitions,” said Yamashita.</p>
<h3>Cameron Sinclair joins PGIM</h3>

<p>Cameron Sinclair has joined PGIM as Head of its Institutional Relationship Group responsible for Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney, Australia.</p>
<p>PGIM, among the world’s top 10 asset managers with more than $1 trillion in assets under management, is the global investment management businesses of US-based and NYSE-listed Prudential Financial, Inc.</p>
<p>Sinclair will report to Philip Hsin, head of PGIM’s Institutional Relationship Group in Asia Pacific, ex-Japan. He will take on a new role created to advise superannuation funds, platforms and other large institutional investors.</p>
<p>“With Cameron’s depth of knowledge across the investment management landscape in Australia and New Zealand, he will partner with PGIM’s businesses and investment experts across asset classes to offer our clients tailored solutions to attain their most pressing investment goals,” said Hsin.</p>
<p>Sinclair was most recently the Director of Institutional Sales for Principal Global Investors, representing all their affiliates for the Australia and New Zealand region where he built, grew, and maintained stakeholder relationships across the firm’s investment boutiques. Previously, he managed institutional sales for ING Australia. Sinclair spent several years in the U.K. leading institutional sales for Daiwa SB Investments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Technology, Sydney.</p>
