Petronas Ventures-backed Braintree plans to deploy robots in Malaysian plantations

Artificial intelligence-enabled robots could soon harvest palm fruit, cocoa and rubber in Malaysia’s labour-intensive plantation farming sector.

The robots, which are currently being developed by Petronas Ventures-backed agriculture technology startup Braintree Technologies, could be deployed as early as March next year.
