JD.com-backed fresh produce platform QianDama raises $143m Series D

QianDama, China’s community-based fresh produce chain brand, has secured 1 billion yuan ($143 million) in its Series D round of financing to accelerate its market expansion. 

The latest round was led by Costone Capital, with the participation of existing investor Genbridge Capital, a private equity firm backed by Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com. Taikang Insurance Group, JD Investment, Immensus Capital and Lighthouse Capital also joined, according to a company statement.
