Quona Capital leads funding in Rupifi and 24 more India deal updates

Rupifi, a finance platform for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), has raised $4.1 million in a pre-series A round of funding led by Quona Capital.

Investors from Ankur Capital, and Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal also participated in the round.

The startup will use the funding to expand its product offerings, partnerships and to scale its team, it said in a statement.

Founded in 2020 by Anubhav Jain, Ankit Singh, and Jawaid Iqbal, Rupifi operates as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm focussed on financial products for small and medium enterprises in India and Southeast Asia.

The startup had last raised an undisclosed sum as part of its pre-seed round from several investors including BharatPe’s Ashneer Grover, Cred’s Kunal Shah, Livspace’s Ramakant Sharma, Better Capital, and AngelList Syndicate Cloud Capital.
