SG-based SCI Ecommerce to raise new round amid market turmoil

SCI Ecommerce, a Singapore-based e-commerce enabler that offers solutions to brands listed on platforms such as Lazada and Alibaba’s Tmall, is in the market to raise tens of millions of US dollars from investors, including an Alibaba co-founder, ahead of a proposed initial public offering (IPO).

Eddie Wu Yongming, one of Alibaba’s founding members, has already entered into an agreement with SCI Ecommerce to invest in the round, Joseph Liu Jiannan, founder and CEO of SCI Ecommerce, told DealStreetAsia in an interview.
