<h3>SelenaGo raises seed funding from UMG Idealab</h3>
Yogyakarta-based online leisure and travel marketplace SelenaGO has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from UMG Idealab, the venture capital arm of diversified conglomerate UMG Myanmar, according to its statement.
The fresh funding will be used to expand the startup&#8217;s business outside Yogyakarta, one of the main tourist cities located in the heart of Java.
The marketplace, formerly known as GOselena, seeks to match leisure activity/package operators with users. It also offers travel and tour workshops to operators to promote themselves through the platform.
<h3>Avnos moves Asia Pacific HQ to Indonesia </h3>
Cybersecurity startup Avnos plans to move its Asia Pacific headquarters to Jakarta from Singapore, it said in a statement last week.
The company said it would make Indonesia its first priority market by investing in sales, marketing, technical support, and R&amp;D teams. It also plans to grow its Indonesia team to 70 people by 2020 from 20 employees currently.
Startups that focus on cybersecurity, blockchain, AI, and robotics are quite rare in Indonesia.
