Sequoia China backs Union Strong and 11 more deal updates from Greater China

Union Strong, a Beijing-based firm that uses AI and other technology to treat cerebrovascular diseases, has secured “tens of millions of US dollars” in a Series C round led by Sequoia Capital China, the investee announced on Tuesday. 

Returning investors who joined the round were BioTrack Capital, YuanBio Venture Capital and Sunland Fund, and Greenwaters Fund.

BioTrack Capital along with YuanBio Venture Capital, Lenovo Capital, and other investors, had together infused a similar-sized sum in Union Strong’s Series B+ round in February this year.

Investment banks CEC Capital and Probing Capital served as joint financial advisors for the deal.

Union Strong’s cloud computing system is used by hundreds of hospitals that help manage patients’ database, covering screening, diagnosis, and surgery.
