Cariuma, a Singapore-headquartered direct-to-consumer sneaker brand, has raised around $16.5 million in a funding round backed by venture capital firm East Ventures, according to regulatory filings.
Madrone Capital Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm associated with Rob Walton, the eldest son of Walmart founder Sam Walton; Innova Capital; Shanghai Capital Fund; and other investors also participated in the round, show Cariuma’s filings with Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
