Singapore-based healthcare SaaS startup <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Vault+Dragon">Vault Dragon</a>, which helps hospitals and clinics digitise medical records, is targeting to close its Series A fundraising in the third quarter of this year to finance its market expansion.

The startup is seeking to raise between $737,800 and $3.7 million (S$1 million and S$5 million) in the round.
According to two executives linked to the development, Vault Dragon is on track to enter Thailand and Brunei in the second quarter of this year. It is speaking with local partners at a corporate and government level to extend its presence in both markets.
Vault Dragon last raised <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/65376-65376/">a $1.21-million (S$1.64 million) pre-Series A round</a> from Golden Equator Capital and Raging Bulls in 2017.
Its previous $400,000 seed round was raised in 2013. Its investors include 500 Startups, Golden Gate Ventures, JFDI and other angel investors.
Founded in 2013, Vault Dragon claims to drive efficiency and reduced costs by scanning medical records, managing them on its portal, to data analytics. The company currently serves 650 doctors, over 60 healthcare institutions, and has scanned more than one million unique patient records in Singapore and China.
The Singapore-based startup has pivoted a few times since its launch.
It started off as a graduate from the JFDI Asia accelerator programme where it operated as a valet storage company. After unsuccessfully launching in Hong Kong, losing a co-founder and nearly his entire team, Tseng Ching-Tse returned to Singapore and pivoted the business to healthcare.
According to Vault Dragon, the company is on track to hit $1.8 million to $2.2 million (S$2.5 to S$3 million) in revenues this year. Its post-money valuation sits at $6 million from its pre-Series A round in 2017.
