AGC Singapore, a subsidiary of <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=AGC+Networks">AGC Networks Ltd</a>, has entered into an agreement to acquire all the outstanding shares of  Washington County&#8217;s <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=blackbox">Black Box Corporation</a> in a deal worth around $16.4 million.
According to its announcement on Sunday, AGC Singapore will commence a tender offer to purchase all of the outstanding shares of Black Box common stock for $1.08 per share in cash. The transaction is expected to close before  year-end.
AGC Singapore is a global technology integrator to architect, deploy, manage and secure IT environment through customized solutions and services. Meanwhile, Black Box operates as a digital solutions provider with expertise across the design, build and management of IT infrastructure.
Sanjeev Verma, Executive Director and CEO of AGC Networks, said, “The merger of our two companies will create a unique organization that has the scale to deliver world-wide technical solutions to the largest organizations.&#8221;
As AGC currently has strong presence in India, the Middle East and Pacific Rim, the merger with Black Box will boost  its presence in North America. It also expects the merger will add over $600 million in annual revenue and about 3,000 team members worldwide.
