<h3><strong>Echo Base gets funding from Boustead Projects, Moor House Capital</strong></h3>
<p>Singapore-based property tech startup, Echo Base, has announced that it has received investment from SGX-listed Boustead Projects and Moor House Capital, an investment holding company that is majority controlled by Min-Liang Tan, CEO and co-founder of Razer.</p>
<p>Financial details of the investment remain undisclosed.</p>
<p>Echo Base is a real estate fund management and services platform focused on developing, investing and managing smart buildings and integrated developments across the Asia Pacific.</p>
<p><span class="x-el x-el-span px_-letter-spacing-normal px_-text-transform-none px_-fs-unset px_-ff-_Lato___arial__sans-serif px_-fw-700 x-d-ux">Echo Base managing director and co-founder Bryan Lim, said:</span> “Traditional real estate is ripe for disruption. There is much we can do at Echo Base to provide next generation services for smart buildings and cities of the future. I strongly believe in each shareholder’s different strengths that will be able to contribute to the success of the company.&#8221;</p>
<p>Razer&#8217;s Southeast Asia headquarters will be its first project, with another smart city project in Southeast Asia to be announced soon.</p>
<h3><strong>Two e-scooter startups face charges in Singapore</strong></h3>
<p>Telepod and Neuron Mobility face charges in court as Singapore authorities continue their crackdown on e-scooter operators.</p>
<p>According to local reports, Telepod was charged in court on Thursday for providing personal mobility device sharing services without a licence or official exemption.</p>
<p>The Land Transport Authority (LTA) added that it had impounded 68 Telepod PMDs after repeatedly warning the firm that it should not make them available for hire without a licence or prior exemption.</p>
<p>The LTA has also impounded 131 Neuron Mobility PMDs, and said that it will charge the company in court at a later date.</p>
