<p>Singapore-based Novena Global Lifecare Group has acquired four eye care centres in Singapore and plans to acquire a majority stake in Taiwan&#8217;s Hexin Group, while Australia&#8217;s Telix Pharma has made its debut on ASX.</p>

<p>Singapore-based <span class="tinymce-colortext" style="color: #000080;"><strong><a class="tinymce-colortext" style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/Novena-Global-Lifecare-Group" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Novena Global Lifecare Group</a></strong></span> has acquired four eye care centres in Singapore and plans to acquire a majority stake in Taiwan&#8217;s Hexin Group ahead of a plan to <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/novena-global-lifecare-group-taiwan-stock-exchange-150m-ipo-79110/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span class="tinymce-colortext" style="color: #000080;"><strong>conduct its public float on the Taiwan Stock Exchange</strong></span></a> that aims to raise $150 million.</p>

<p>Its business targets three key areas, namely preventive care through health screenings, nutrition and supplements; predictive care through DNA testing to identify potential susceptibilities to illness; and rejuvenative care through aesthetic medical services.</p>
<p>The four Singapore clinics are owned and led by ophthalmologists Dr Gerard Chuah and Dr Chuah Chin Tek. These acquisitions will enable Novena Global to expand beyond aesthetic and wellness treatments. The acquisitive transaction will see both doctors join Novena Global’s Regional Medical Advisory Board.</p>

<p>Australian biopharmaceutical company Telix Pharmaceuticals Ltd has made its debut on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) after raising $50 million in an initial public offering (IPO).</p>
<p>The IPO has been supported by existing shareholders including Acorn Capital, CVC, Monash Investors, Viburnum Funds, Alium Capital Management and Allan Moss. Fidelity International is a cornerstone investor with 10 per cent of the issued capital of the company. The lead managers for the IPO were Taylor Collison Ltd and Wilsons Corporate Finance Ltd.</p>
<p>The biopharma firm will use the proceeds from the IPO to fund the development and completion of clinical trials for Telix’s pipeline in renal (kidney), prostate and brain cancer (glioblastoma).</p>
