Singapore-based private equity-backed business development services provider <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/tag/InCorp-Group/">InCorp Group </a>has acquired non-audit business units of Ardent, an outsourcing and advisory firm, for an undisclosed sum, according to an official release.
Through the acquisition, three leaders of Ardent including Terence Ng, Kelvin Thio and Sarjit Singh will become partners of InCorp Group.
Terence Ng and his co-founding partner, Kelvin Thio, each have more than 20 years of experience, in corporate restructuring, business reviews, due diligence and acquisition deals, as well as insolvency and forensic accounting assignments.
Meanwhile, Sarjit Singh, executive chairman at Ardent, has over 25 years of experience in assurance and advisory services, including a 16-year stint at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Ardent is the 10th group acquisition of the InCorp Group as it builds a diverse and multi-jurisdictional team offering the whole spectrum of corporate services and business consultancy in the Asia-Pacific region.
Last year, InCorp Group acquired three subsidiaries of CA Trust Group for an undisclosed amount to bolster its corporate secretarial, accounting, taxation and consulting practices.
The acquired units are APP Management Advisory Pte Ltd, CA Trust Solutions Pte Ltd and CA Trust Taxation Pte Ltd.
Established in 2008, Ardent is an independent accounting firm that provides audit, tax, accounting, business advisory, outsourcing, corporate recovery, risk and governance, and IT infrastructure and solutions to local and foreign businesses in Singapore.
InCorp was founded in 2015 and is backed by European private equity firm EQT through its EQT Mid Market Fund.
