Singapore-based <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Tribe+Theory" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Tribe Theory</a>, which offers accommodation for entrepreneurs, has announced a $1-million seed investment from Superangel, Aurum Investments and REAPRA.
The proceeds from the investment will be used for Tribe Theory’s physical expansion, new business offerings and strengthening the leadership team.
Having a presence in Singapore, Bali and Yangon, Tribe Theory offers a hostel service as well as an entrepreneurial atmosphere through a co-working space.
Established in 2018, Tribe Theory claims over 4,000 entrepreneurs use its physical locations in Singapore, Bali and Yangon. The startup has physical presence in Bangalore and Hong Kong as well.
The funding will help Tribe Theory expand to Tallinn (capital city of Estonia), Kuala Lumpur &amp; The Philippines later this year.
Tribe Theory also recently launched Tribe Theory Academy in Bali, offering learning opportunities for startups on subjects like data marketing, market research and social media advertising.
The company plans to expand the academy around the world.
Looking forward, the company aims to cover 25 countries by 2023.
