South Korea: Mirae Asset acquires US-based ETF firm Global X for $488m

Mirae Asset Global Investments, the asset management unit of South Korea’s Mirae Asset Financial Group, has signed an agreement to acquire Global X Management Company (Global X), the New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds (ETF).
