Huai Fong Chew is the Regional Lead for the East Asia &amp; the Pacific Private Equity Funds team of the IFC. She is responsible for leading investments into funds in the region.
Before joining IFC, Huai Fong spent five years with DEG where she had a primary coverage of Southeast Asia. She led fund investments and co-investments in the region as well as managed a portfolio of funds through her Advisory Committee positions. Before DEG, Huai Fong was with UOB Venture Management where she did direct equity investments into growth-stage companies in Southeast Asia and China.

Aldi Adrian Hartanto is the co-founder and managing partner at Ascent Ventures Group, a thesis-driven venture capital firm specialising in early-stage investments to empower extended Southeast Asian builders with expertise in MSME enabler, next gen. fintech, and neo-consumer.
He is also the Vice President of Investments at MDI Ventures, an $830-million AUM global multi-fund VC firm investing in local founders. Aldi is leading the overall global investment activities to focus on seed-to-growth equity-stage startups across five funds and three offices in Indonesia, Singapore, and the US.

Susli Lie is a Partner at Monk&#8217;s Hill Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage tech companies, primarily Series A, in Southeast Asia. She is based in Indonesia and is the ESG leader for the firm, responsible for sourcing, analysing and executing deals, and working closely with portfolio companies.
Susli is the first Y Combinator-backed female founder from Indonesia. She is also the co-founder of ErudiFi, a tech-enabled education financing company in Southeast Asia. Susli is a seasoned finance professional, having built a career at the cross-section of finance, development, and technology with global experience spanning North America, Australia, Africa, and Southeast Asia. She has spent the last decade advising, investing, and operating as a founder primarily in Indonesia.

Aldi Haryopratomo is a tech entrepreneur, mentor and angel investor. He currently serves as a vice chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce where he’s in charge of entrepreneurship. He’s also a vice chair of the Indonesian fintech association, as well as commissioner in several tech companies including Halodoc, and eFishery.
Aldi started his entrepreneurial career in 2009 when he founded fintech Mapan, which targets low-income communities through a social commerce model. Mapan was then acquired by Gojek in 2017 and Haryopratomo led the tech giant’s fintech arm GoPay from then until 2021.
Post-GoPay, Aldi has been actively mentoring startup founders and teams. Last September, he joined the board of commissioners of the entertainment company Visinema.

Sebastian Togelang is the Founder &amp; Managing Partner of Rigel Capital, an Investment and ecosystem builder for hyper-growth sectors or companies, focusing mainly on the emerging Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern and Indian economies. Before Rigel Capital, he founded Kejora Capital and grew the company to $700 million in AUM, creating 4 unicorns and investing in over 35 companies.
He co-founded or invested in companies such as Volta Electric Vehicle, Metalbook, Brandami, Amilo, SiCepat Express, DMMX, MCASH, G2Academy, Caxe, Qareer Group, Finfleet, Finaccel Kredivo, Smartstudy (Pinkfong), Investree, and Snapask.

Liris Maduningtyas is the co-founder and CEO of JALA, a Yogyakarta-based shrimp farming management startup founded in 2017. With JALA, Liris is motivated to help farmers use technology in running cultivation and mitigate harvest failure so they generate better produce.
In November 2023, JALA raised about $13.1 million in a Series A funding round from notable investors including Indonesian venture capital firm Intudo Ventures, SMDV, French investment manager Mirova’s Sustainable Ocean Fund, US-based coastal fishing-focused impact investor Meloy Fund, and others.

Okie Octavia Kurniawan, the CEO of Volta Indonesia/PT Energi Selalu Baru, is a veteran with extensive experience in managing logistics business, modern trade and general trade business, as well as in sales operation and trade marketing.
Okie currently serves as CEO of PT Energy Selalu Baru (ESB), which owns the two-wheeler brand Volta, which was founded in 2017. ESB is a joint venture between logistics company SiCepat and NFC Indonesia, a subsidiary of the publicly-listed PT M Cash Integrasi.
Volta recently raised significant funding from Twin Towers Ventures, the investment arm of Petronas Ventures, and Rigel Capital. Besides two-wheeler EVs, ESB also offers battery swapping stations and a rent-to-own service for its motorcycles through NFC Indonesia’s other subsidiary Semolis.

Randolph Hsu is the Co-Founder of Ondine Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in China and SE Asia. Ondine has backed startups in SE Asia such as Carsome, Love Bonito, Sayurbox, Dekoruma, Snapask, Ematic, Haulio, Dropee, Crewdible, Whiz, Swap, iMotorbike and MetaCRM.
Ondine Capital was reportedly targeting a corpus of $100 million for a new US-dollar fund to focus on Southeast Asia. The firm is looking to back SE Asian startups operating in areas such as e-commerce and online marketplaces, logistics and business services, consumer brands and fintech. Hsu is an investment veteran who previously worked at CICC Capital, Kuan Capital, and GGV Capital.
