Stonebridge backs Dailyhunt

Dailyhunt, a news and local language content platform, has raised about $3 million as part of its ongoing Series F funding round from Cayman Islands-based Stonebridge.

This bring the Bengaluru-based startup’s Series F funding round to $25 million.

In May, Dailyhunt secured about $22 million in Series F funding from Belgium-based investment fund Sofina (Advent Management). It recently also acquired Bengaluru-based hyperlocal video content and news content platform, Local Play, for an undisclosed amount.

edLABS invests in iDreamCareer

Career counselling firm iDreamCareer (iDC) has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-Series A funding from US-based edLABS.

edLABS is part of Gray Matters Capital, an impact investor focused on the education and skilling sector.

“The funding made by our edLABS initiative is aimed at improving the learning outcomes of educational courses by mapping student abilities with courses suitable for them, which, in turn, would help in boosting their future employability prospects,” said Srinita Mitra, Portfolio Manager, Gray Matters Capital edLABS.
