Symphony Digital, a nascent digital asset investment platform, announced on Thursday the closing of its inaugural fund, Symphony Digital Opportunities Fund, at $40 million. Family offices and institutional investors including Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands invested.
Animoca Brands — a gamification and blockchain upstart with a portfolio of over 170 non-fungible token (NFT)-related companies and decentralised projects — is a lead investor as well as a strategic partner to the fund, according to a statement.
