<h3>Tosshead secures funding from NRIs</h3>
<p>Event equipment and packages booking startup Tosshead has secured Rs 30 lakh in funding from non-resident Indians in the US, it announced on Tuesday.</p>
<p>The company, which currently offers its services in Bangalore, will use the funds for expanding to other major Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad in a span of 6-12 months. Part of the funds will also be used to scale up its technology offering, it said.</p>
<p>The company has also partnered with Indian hospitality company OYO for banquet hall bookings.</p>
<h3>Venture Catalysts invests in EasyFi</h3>
<p>Venture Catalysts has invested an undisclosed amount in virtual Wi-Fi infrastructure firm EasyFi.</p>
<p>The startup raised the capital as part of its angel funding round to expand its network connectivity and establish virtual infrastructure across new locations, per a statement. A product of WI Digital Service Pvt. Ltd., EasyFi provides a centralised Wi-Fi service to end-consumers, thereby helping telecom and internet service providers get rid of delivering devices and last-mile operational costs.</p>
<h3>AET, Blume back The Wedding Brigade</h3>
<p>Wedding portal The Wedding Brigade (TWB) has raised over $1 million in an extended pre-Series A funding round led by Japan-based AET Fund and Blume Ventures, the company announced on Tuesday.</p>
<p>The round also saw participation from Allana Group and other angel investors. The fresh funding will be used to scale TWB’s latest business of creating and operating wedding banquet spaces and its existing content and e-commerce businesses. Prior to this round, TWB had raised $1 million in funding also led by Blume Ventures.</p>
<h3>Matrix puts more money in &amp;ME</h3>
<p>Bengaluru-based food and beverage brand &amp;Me has secured follow-on investment from existing investor Matrix Partners India. Consumer VC fund Sauce.vc also participated in the round.</p>
<p>&amp;Me will use the funds to expand its team, scale operations nationally, and widen its product offering. Operated by Bengaluru-based Merhaki Food and Nutrition Pvt. Ltd, &amp;Me had raised an undisclosed amount in funding from Matrix last year in August.</p>
