Tsecond.ai, a company focused on petabyte-scale edge storage and AI infrastructure, has secured more than Rs 190 crore (about $21.5 million) in funding, according to an announcement.
The round was led by MSN Holdings, the family office of Manish Nuwal, Managing Director and CEO of Solar Industries India Limited, a global defence manufacturing firm valued at around $13.4 billion.
The funding, raised across multiple rounds over two years, will support the expansion of Tsecond.ai’s flagship BRYCK platform, the company said in a statement.
Tsecond.ai builds compact, high-performance computing and data systems for defence, aerospace, and other critical uses.
Its main product, the BRYCK platform, enables fast data collection and AI processing in rugged systems designed to operate in tough conditions, including remote areas with little or no internet connectivity.
“The security environment is more complex and more demanding than at any point in recent decades,” Nuwal said in a statement. “Nations are investing heavily in the capabilities that will matter in that environment. Edge compute infrastructure is the linchpin for operating in a contested battlefield.”
Industry estimates value Tsecond.ai between Rs 2,600 crore and Rs 3,000 crore (approximately $300–350 million).
The funding comes at a time when the company is seeing active deployments across major defence programmes in the US, UK, India and Europe.
