US-based Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is optimistic about its first post-pandemic event in Singapore in June, its Asia Pacific senior vice president Kevin Chang told DealStreetAsia in an interview.
The American mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter intends to fully pack the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 10-11th – a major venue of around 10,000 seats with a double header bout comprising UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira versus No. 2 Jiri Prochazka, and UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko against No. 5 Taila Santos.
