UOB Private Bank, the wealth management arm of Singapore-based United Overseas Bank, has appointed Judy Chan as managing director for Hong Kong, effective July 2026, it said in a statement on Monday.

Chan will be based in Hong Kong and report to Chew Mun Yew, head of the group’s private bank. She will lead the bank’s work with wealthy clients in Hong Kong and oversee its local private banking team.

Chan has nearly 30 years of banking experience across private banking and commercial banking. She has held senior roles managing large teams, growing businesses in key markets and advising clients on wealth planning and family succession.

UOB Private Bank said the appointment forms part of its plan to grow in Hong Kong and serve more high-net-worth clients across Asia.
