Newmont sells stake in Indonesia's copper, gold mines for $1.3b

In a significant deal, US-based mining company Newmont Mining Corporation has sold its entire 48.5 per cent stake in PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (PTNNT), which operates the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine in Indonesia, to PT Amman Mineral Internasional (PTAMI) for $1.3 billion.
